Cottonwood Park Revitalization Community Survey Report

Thank you to the 274 respondents of the Community Survey! Your feedback will help guide the revitalization of Cottonwood Park, an important recreation and gathering space for community members and visitors.

The Community Survey was open from February 5th to 21st, 2026. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive with only 3% of respondents opposed to the project. The highest priorities for the community are washroom upgrades and the construction of a new playground. A new stage and upgrades to the beachside walking path are also supported. The picnic shelter is not a community priority for upgrades at this time.
