Take your recycling to the Fort St. James Transfer Station located at 1521 Necoslie Rd.
Monday - Friday & Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM
Saturday 8 AM and 6 PM
All residents residing outside Municipal boundaries must bring their household waste to the transfer station themselves. Accepted materials include:
- Large and small appliances
- Electronics
- Lightbulbs
- Paint
- Metal scrap
- Styrofoam
- Propane tanks
- Aerosol cans and spiral wound cans
- Cardboard and paper
- Milk jugs and cartons
- Plastic containers and bottles
- Overwrap
Recycling Tips
You can help ensure that more materials are recycled by following these steps:
- Sort your recycling according to the instructions at the depot
- Empty and rinse containers
- flatten cardboard all cardboard
