Adoption of New Guiding Document
The District of Fort St James is pleased to announce it has officially adopted the accessibility plan of the Bulkley-Nechako Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee.
Following a year of consultation with regional stakeholders, municipalities and non-profit associations, a Joint Accessibility Plan has been created, which the District is proud to adopt as a guiding document for integrating accessibility into operations.

Fort St James - Improving Quality of Life for Seniors
Our seniors are an invaluable resource - whether folks have helped to build our town, or have recently arrived to call Fort their retirement destination, we value the profound contributions seniors make to the fabric of our municipality. Fort St. James uses its Seniors' Action Plan as one of its main lenses to evaluate repair, renovation and new initiatives in the District.
