Under the Accessible British Columbia Act, prescribed organizations, including municipalities, are required to establish an accessibility committee, develop an accessibility plan, and provide a mechanism for the public to provide feedback on accessibility.
Bulkley-Nechako Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee
To facilitate the work of the Accessible British Columbia Act, the Bulkley-Nechako Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee was formed. It include participating organizations from across the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako, including organizations from Telkwa, Houston, Granisle, Burns Lake, Fraser Lake, Vanderhoof, and Fort St. James.
