The District of Fort St. James employs an Economic Development Officer to work with a variety of partners, as both a facilitator and catalyst, to help create an environment in which communities can thrive, businesses can grow and people can prosper.

Services

The District of Fort St. James offers a number of services through its Economic Development Department including:

  • Research on the local economy, workforce, and community
  • Small business development assistance and capacity building
  • Developing funding streams for local community infrastructure, programs, and initiatives
  • Information services, including about funding programs and other helpful resources for businesses, workers, and residents
