The purpose of the Fort St. James Emergency Support Services (ESS) Program is to provide short-term assistance to individuals and families who are displaced from their homes because of fire, floods, earthquakes, or other emergencies. Typically, assistance is granted for up to 72 hours and includes food, clothing, shelter, and incidentals.
