The application proposes to amend the “District of Fort St. James Bylaw No. 738, 2001” by rezoning the subject properties from R-1 Residential – Single Family to R-3 Residential – Apartment Building. Additionally, the application aims to achieve this rezoning with a site-specific zoning amendment to reduce the required lot area from 1,000 m2 to 556 m2 and the required frontage from 30 m to 15.2 m.
This notice is provided in advance of Council’s consideration of first three readings of the proposed bylaw. In accordance with sections 464 and 467 of the Local Government Act, as the proposed bylaw is consistent with the District’s Official Community Plan, a public hearing will not be held.
