TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 24, 26, and 94 of the Community Charter, the District of Fort St. James (the “District”) proposes to dispose of an interest in the following lands to the Fort St. James Music Makers Society:

Lot 6, Block 2, District Lot 110, Range 5, Coast District Plan 1691
(the “Lands”) having a civic address of 255 2nd Ave West, Fort St. James, BC, as shown outlined in blue on the map below and on this notice.
The proposed disposition is for the lease (the “Lease”) of the Lands between the District and the Fort St. James Music Makers Society. The Lease will commence on September 1st, 2025, and will expire on August 31, 2030, with the option to renew for an additional term of 5 years. The consideration to be received by the District is rent in the amount of $6,000 plus GST for the initial 5-year term.
TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with Section 24 and 94 of the Community Charter, the District’s intention is to provide a form of assistance to the Fort St. James Music Makers Society as the rental rate is less than fair market value.
