When Wildfires are Active Nearby...
...Stay off of Stuart Lake. We welcome residents and visitors to enjoy Stuart Lake, but we ask that all persons stay mindful of the current wildfire situation by visiting the BC Wildfire Map regularly.
If there are wildfires or evacuation alerts nearby, Stuart Lake may be used for firefighting water operations - planes and helicopters need access. Be mindful of wildfire situations and, if you see helicopters or planes accessing the water, head to shore or your berth!
