Position Overview
The District of Fort St. James is seeking a Full-Time Seasonal Cottonwood Campground Attendant. The Cottonwood Campground Attendant will manage the general operations of both the Fort St. James Marina as well as the Cottonwood Municipal Campground from May to September. The Cottonwood Campground Attendant will book campsites, maintain records, cash receipting, maintain cleanliness of all grounds and facilities, and will coordinate with Public Works for maintenance and managing equipment rentals. 
Qualifications
Applicants must be aged 16-30 and have a valid SIN number and a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures, be able to collect cash payments using various methods (Cash/Cheque/POS), prepare daily cash summaries, conduct inspections and can communicate effectively with the public. 
Additional Information
This is a full-time seasonal union position offering 40 hours of work per week, the hourly rate is $26.94 with 4% in lieu of vacation. The Cottonwood Campground Attendant will be based out of the Marina & Cottonwood Campground located at 1995 Lakeshore Drive, Fort St. James. The successful candidate will be expected to work evenings and weekends. It may be requested, from time to time, that the employee will need to work outside of the regularly established hours.
